Welcome to the English website of StEG, the Study for the Development of All-day Schools. Since 2005 the project examines the conditions, development and effects of German schools offering extracurricular activities and extended daily hours.

StEG-Results in English

A new article about results of the Study for Development of All-day Schools (StEG) is in press. Natalie Fischer and Eckhard Klieme wrote about quality and effectiveness of German all-day schools in a miscellany on extended education. The book will be published on 29th September 2011.
